I think there's a need for a few more microwaving lessons

While I was gone today Luke heated a frozen English muffin for 2 minutes. The inside of the microwave is yellowed and stinky. They opened the windows and tried to clear out the smoke, but the house is still smelly.

Luke called and told me about it. He said: I'll save it, Mom. You can take a picture and put it on your blog.

I love this kid!!

This is great! We found a microwave popcorn mishap a couple of years ago like this.

We boiled vinegar in it over and over to remove the smokey smell that came every time the microwave was used. LOL

Love the foresight to save the muffin for a blog photo. ::snort::

Thanks, De'Etta! I was wondering how to get rid of the smell. It's terrible.

I tried your suggestion this afternoon. Did you know that if you boil vinegar for too long in a microwave, it will blow the door open?
