My birthday's not until tomorrow, but Mark couldn't wait 'til then to give me my present.

One of those fancy aluminum ladders that I can use as a step-ladder too. Here he is checking it out, making sure it's safe so I can get started painting the house early in the morning. He'll show me how to use my new paint sprayer then.
