My daughter is a boot-legger
They move 6 hours away and you lose track of 'em. I knew she was wearing one of these in December, but was shocked the first time I saw her with two! She assures me she's fine.

What ARE those things?
Lee had stress fractures in both legs all this past winter. She had to wear these boots whenever she wasn't practicing or playing.
They supposedly take the stress off her shins. They also make it very difficult to walk on ice/snow/puddles.
She took the month of December off, and thought she was all healed up and good to go after Christmas. In March I found out she was wearing them on both legs.
I never asked, so nobody ever told me....
Oh my! I hope she is okay soon!
