This is a Very Weird Town

The men in this town are strange - especially in the fall as deer season approaches. Right on Main Street, between the pizza place and the car wash is this sign. I don't understand--who would be dumb enough to buy this little strip of hunting property? And what would they hunt here anyway??

Oh. Never mind. Now I understand.

I know hunting is huge in this area. But I always thought it was just in the wooded areas. Here are deer stands right on Main Street!!

Late one Sunday night I drove into town and saw a camping cot in the middle of the street! I mean it, right in the middle, in the turning lane.

Saw one of these at the grocery store.

Even Luke is buying into the hysteria.
