College Bound

Mark and Lee were out the door early, early this morning. Her first time flying alone, she tells Dad he can just drop her off at the door, she can make it fine. So he lets her out, then of course finds a place and goes inside "just to be sure." She's already gotten her boarding pass and is just about to go through security. Mark waves, then goes back out to the car. Lee calls a little later to say bye.

Called this evening and said she had a wonderful time. Played basketball w/ the girls for 1 1/2 hours this afternoon. Said she was tired, but felt pretty good. She's doing much better than this past winter!

She was staying at a motel. I wondered if they'd have her stay on campus. She was taking a shower and getting ready to go to Coach C's house tonight. Then tomorrow she'll hang out around campus w/ some of the players.

This is a good trip for her. I think it will help her looking forward to going down in the summer. Good practice for Mom and Dad. :)
