Waffles for breakfast, courtesy of Luke. Well, at least until he started eating the first one. He let me finish cooking the rest. We should've just baled the yard. Mad scientist/farmer Marcy, when you guys went back to Thailand you forgot Ike's drums. I'm staying up tonight trying to catch up on reading blogs. Only 145 more posts to go. I'm a little behind.
hey there donna. glad to see luke is making use of the drums. i was worried they'd just be in mark's way in the shed. he, let's see some pics of the new pool?! glad to see all that planting is done and you are back online. i was having "ummm..." withdrawals.
Oh Marcy, Mark finally finished. Usually we're done the middleish of June. I've never seen such weird summer weather! We got over 2 more inches of rain last night (Monday).
Debbie, thanks. We've had our daughter home from collge this month, but she rarely shows up on the blog because, well..., she's usually not here. Busy catching up with friends. :)
My kids will tell you I'm the best cook in the world--if I'm making pancakes or cinnamon rolls or chocolate sheet cake.
I love to bake, try new recipes, 'fill the freezer,' and have friends over for meals. I really like cooking for adults because they don't usually say '”yuck” or “I'm not eating that!” or my all-time favorite, “I'm fasting.”
It's fun to introduce my kids to some of the finer things in life—books, history, math, and old tv shows from the 50s-70s. Ahhhh...
I like to look for the humor in everyday life. I don't like having my picture taken or going to the doctor. Ewww, at least I don't ever have to do both at the same time.
Read our blog for awhile and you'll know more about all of us than you ever wanted or needed to know.

Have you ever considered that the drums are the cause of your dangerous health condition? Could be.
The drums are out in Mark's machine shed. Hmmmm...they did arrive about the same time as my diagnosis though. Interesting....
